Quality Policy Statement

• HiAdvance management is dedicated to provide our customers with the best data quality and industry practices, hand in hand with its committed professional resources.
• HiAdvance management is committed to maintaining the highest possible standard of service.
• To provide reliable data of known quality through adherence to rigorous quality assurance policies and quality control procedures as documented in the Quality Assurance Manual. This serves as the overall objective of our quality system.
• All personnel within the HiAdvance network are required to be familiar with all facets of the quality system relevant to their position and implement these policies and procedures in their daily work. This daily focus on quality is applied with initial project planning, continued through all field and laboratory activities, and is ultimately included in the final report generation.
• HiAdvance aims to comply with the ISO/IEC 17025:2005, 2009 TNI Standard and to promote the continuous improvement of the quality system. The management demonstrates its commitment to quality by providing the resources, including facilities, equipment, and personnel to ensure the adherence to documented policies and procedures.
• All HiAdvance personnel must comply with all current applicable regulatory and industry standards, and are required to perform all tests in accordance with stated methods and customer requirements

Quality Objective

HiAdvance functions with the following Objectives:

• To maintain a 93% rating on the Customer Experience and Quality System metrics score monthly.
• To achieve a customer satisfaction survey of at least 50% Excellent.
• To develop at least one additional capability in testing of environmental samples annually.
• To provide a safe and conducive working environment.
• To ensure that all equipment are operational and properly maintained.

Code of Ethics

• Each HiAdvance employee is responsible for the propriety and consequences of his or her actions;

Standards of Conduct

Data Integrity

Lack of data integrity is an assault on our most basic values putting HPI and its employees at grave financial and legal risk and will not be tolerated.


HiAdvance employees must not use or disclose confidential or proprietary information except when in connection with their duties at HPI.

Conflict of Interest

HiAdvance employees must avoid situations that might involve a conflict of interest or could appear questionable to others.

Criteria For Quality Indicators

The laboratory maintains a Quality Control Limit Summary that contains tables that summarize the precision and accuracy acceptability limits for performed analyses. This summary includes an effective date, is updated each time new limits are generated and are managed by the laboratory’s QA department. Unless otherwise noted, limits within these tables are laboratory generated. Some acceptability limits are derived from US EPA and APHA/AWWA methods when they are required. Where US EPA and APHA/AWWA method limits are not required, the laboratory has developed limits from evaluation of data from similar matrices. Criteria for development of control limits are contained in Section 24.

Statistical Quality Control

(such as SW-846) and programs. The laboratory routinely utilizes statistically-derived limits to evaluate method performance and determine when corrective action is appropriate. The analysts are instructed to use the current limits in the laboratory

Current QC limits are entered and maintained in the LIMS analyte database. As sample results and the related QC are entered into LIMS, the sample QC values are compared with the limits in LIMS to determine if they are within the acceptable range. The analyst then evaluates if the sample needs to be rerun or re-extracted/rerun or if a comment should be added to the report explaining the reason for the QC outlier.

Quality Control Chart

As the QC limits are calculated, QC charts are generated showing warning and control limits for the purpose of evaluating trends. The Quality Manager evaluates these to determine if adjustments need to be made or for corrective actions to methods. All findings are documented and kept on file

Quality System Metrics

In addition to the QC parameters discussed above, the entire Quality System is evaluated on a monthly basis through the use of specific metrics . These metrics are used to drive continuous improvement in the laboratory’s Quality System.
